{Meet Designer/Owner: Mandee Gillen a.k.a Scrappin Madge}

I am kind hearted, spit fire toxic redhead who is a mom of 2 beautiful girls and married her high school sweetheart of 17 years. I also have 3 sweet doggies: 2 Big and 1 small (notice the sweet black doggie on my header and button?? Yup, that's my sweet PUG Kylo isn't he cute?). 
CONFESSION #1 I love me some DIET COKE

Oh baby how I do love to {create}. I love to challenge myself and look outside the box. Continuing to educate and keep up on the latest and greatest things out there.
 There isn't a project that I don't add a little "BLING " to. LOL , I love to try different styles; right now my favorite is the soft vintage look. 

I am inspired by all of the talented men and women in the crafting industry.  I am super excited and honored to be on Heartstring Designs design team, I have met so many talented ladies and gentleman along my designing journey. Whom have become great friends.

CONFESSION #2: I have a crazy problem with collecting the latest and greatest tools out there. (Bad habit:D) I see it and ME want it! LOL

I own a store in Kamas, Utah ** Madge's Scrappin' Lounge! *** It has been my dream for many years to have a store.  Not only to sell product but to provide people with knowledge and the confidence to create something unique and special to them.  I also have an online store.  It warms my heart when customers leave my store knowing that they CAN craft/scrapbook and that it is more than just playing with scissors {hee hee}

I am now the proud owner of **** Heartstring Designs***** a monthly kit company.  Heartstring Designs was established in 2005.  I first started designing for them in September 2005 and continued designing for Heartstring Designs:until December - 2012.   I designed 2009, 2010 and 2011 CKC Scrapbooking Classes for this company.  I took the company over on January 1st 2013.  When the previous owners retired.   Heartstring Designs is a sister company to Madge's Scrappin' Lounge.

CONFESSION #4 I have a weakness for Scrapbooking  and Crafting Books, they are always calling my name!

CONFESSION #5 I love to listen to LOUD crazy music when I create, and I do my best work in the MIDDLE of the night!
