We are super excited to introduce our August Guest Craft Doctor!!!

I have known Sherri for a couple of years now and her smile is contagious! She absolutely loves to make cards and anything crafty! She loves to travel! She is always upbeat and has such a great fun personality!!! We Welcome you Sherri to the Heartstring Team this month!!!

Ok let's get on with the show!! Who is ready to see what Sherri designed for us this week??? I know I am just as excited as you!!! Sherri decided to go out of her comfort zone and create a "project life" type of layout!

At first she says she was a little intimidated but she immediately fell in love seeing how easy that these two layouts came together!!! 

(Sherri doesn't have kids so she celebrates her furry kids Parties)

Welcome to another WOW WEDNESDAY!!!! We are super excited to showcase more projects using this great July KIT!!! Summer Lovin' has been hot hot hot!!!!
Our Craft Doctors have been workin' hard to bring some fab projects your way!!!

Before we get started, can I just say how freakin' excited that I am to bring to you the next 5 months worth of kits??? Oh BUDDY!!! Being here at the Create and Connect show (CHA) has been great!! Lot's of stuff ordered now the waiting begins!!! (I know, I know..... just because we can order it does NOT mean that it ships right away *insert sad face here* most things ship in 30 to 60 days *Sniffle Sniffle* BUT!!! When those things DO come in we are going to Party like it is 1999!!!!!

{Guest Craft Doctor Ashley is in the H.O.U.S.E today!!}

We asked a question when the guest craft doctors applied for this months designer spot.  This is the question that was asked and this is how Ashley answered.

QUESTION: If you were an Ice Cream Flavor that best described you and your crafting what would it be and why? 

ANSWER:I would have to say it's Late Night Snack by Ben & Jerry's! It's vanilla ice cream mixed with caramel and chocolate-covered potato chips! You're probably thinking "Wow, this girl's a wacko! Who eats chocolate covered potato chips?!" But, let me explain. :) First off, true to the name of the ice cream, I'm a late night crafter and snacker! I've always preferred the moon over the sun, it's something about the feeling of being motivated and inspired while everyone else is sleeping. It's a great feeling! Secondly, I LOVE the combination of anything salty and sweet, and often think it's a statement of my personality. I've always been super shy, so when I first meet people, I've been told I come across as quiet and sweet. Once I get to know a person, I come out of my shell and become a little more "salty" as I get more comfortable and start showing off my funny and witty side. The first bite of that chocolate-covered potato chip may be sweet, but there's a lot hidden underneath! I love trying new things, and I think the idea of adding chocolate-covered to potato chips to ice cream is totally new and original! Plus, if there's chocolate involved, I'm totally there. :)

When asking Ashley about this kit she was asked "How do you like the kit?" she responded with 

"I love it! The bright, bold papers are perfect for summer and they're the kind of colors I tend to use on my own projects, so it's not frustrating to have to think outside of my style. The chipboard embellishments are SO fun and I like the other embellishments that came with it! The bonus collection is nice too!"

Aren't you just in love with this super fun layout??? It makes me want to go to my craft room right now and start a Project life book!!
